On October 9, 2025, RRAR’s REALTOR® Giving Network hosted their second annual Canvas of Hope Fundraiser. They were supported by the Home Builders Association of Raleigh-Wake County and joined them for their Annual Parade of Homes, alongside one of our builder partners, Loyd Builders.
Nestled in the Shadow Creek Estates, the Loyd Builders Parade of Homes house, “The Oak City Classic,” was transformed into a space that celebrated and supported the community. Talented local artists had their work on display throughout the home. Each piece was available for bid—with proceeds benefiting The Carying Place, an organization doing incredible work in our community. The Carying Place provides stable housing for working families in the Triangle who are experiencing homelessness, offering them a foundation to rebuild. Beyond housing, they equip families with financial literacy and resources to create long-term stability and brighter futures.
We were thrilled to sponsor the event, bid, and win a special piece by King Nobuyoshi Godwin, a Raleigh, NC native diagnosed with autism at two and a half years old. The proceeds of this piece not only went to The Carying Place but was also given to the organization to display in their building.
